Went to the local record store - again - today. I’ve been thinking about buying these albums for a long time and now they are finally mine!
Bohren & der Club of Gore: Dolores(2008) If you’re into funeral doom metal or any music that is slow and comforting, I suggest you try Bohren. A friend of mine suggested this band for me only last autumn and since listening to their Black Earth(2002) -album I’ve been HOOKED. Dark Jazz for everyone’s pleasure.
Grave Miasma: Odori Sepulcrorum(2013) I had to order this one as soon as I heard it for the first time. If you like your death metal blackened or your black metal with a splatter of death, you will like this album.
Om: Pilgrimage(2007) Serpentine bass lines and trance-inducing rhythms. I can’t get enough of Om, and neither should you.
Om: Good is good(2009) My second favourite Om album. The album opens with the 19-minute epic Thebes. Shivers down my spine, every time.
Witch: Witch(2006) This is the band that got me into the weird world of fuzz pedals and music that is not polished. Eastern melodies and Ozzy-era Black Sabbath worship. One of my all-time favourite albums.
Listed these cause I’m a bit bored. Hopefully someone finds this interesting, I might make more posts like this in the future!
